Pedigree of: Seppala Kennels Z-Litter (1994)

THE Z-LITTER are 1/2 Solovyev Siberia import, 1/2 Markovo-Seppalas from a first filial generation cross. They were very competent sleddogs at Seppala Kennels. The litter has a fairly low ABB index (percentage of "Ali, Beowulf, Baron" Surgut/Helen progeny relative to the rest of the pedigree) of 31.25%. The overall 10-generation Coefficient of Inbreeding of this mating was 0%. As the Z-litter was an outbred mating with no known ancestors in common, there is no inbreeding at all in this pedigree for this F1 generation. (As this line is backcrossed to Markovo-Seppalas, however, the inbreeding coefficient will rise again.)
